PRS Compliance Services provides compliance documentation templates and tools for the private rented sector. Our documents are designed to assist with compliance but do not constitute legal advice.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Payment Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
- Document purchases are one-time payments
- All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- Refunds are available within 30 days for subscriptions
- Downloaded documents are non-refundable
5. Document Usage
Documents purchased or accessed through your subscription are licensed for your business use only. You may not:
- Resell or redistribute documents
- Share account access with third parties
- Remove copyright notices or branding
- Use documents for competing services
6. Important Legal Disclaimer
6.1. All documents provided by PRS Compliance Services have been professionally drafted and reviewed for legal accuracy in accordance with current UK legislation, including but not limited to the Renters' Rights Act 2024, the Housing Act 1988 (as amended), and applicable regulations governing the private rented sector.
6.2. Notwithstanding such review, these documents are provided as templates and guidance tools only and do not constitute legal advice. Legislation, case law, and regulatory requirements are subject to change, and the applicability of any document may vary depending on your specific circumstances, jurisdiction, and intended use.
6.3. Each document downloaded, generated, or otherwise obtained through this service should be independently reviewed and approved by your own qualified legal representatives before use, to ensure it meets your specific company needs, complies with any recent legislative changes, and is appropriate for your intended purpose.
6.4. By purchasing, accessing, downloading, or using any document from this platform, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this disclaimer and agree that the responsibility for ensuring the suitability and legal compliance of any document for your particular circumstances rests solely with you and your appointed legal advisors.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRS Compliance Services, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, claim, or legal consequence whatsoever (whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive) arising from or in connection with:
- Your use of, or reliance upon, any document obtained through this service;
- The use of any document without independent legal review as recommended in Section 6 above;
- Any inaccuracy, omission, or error in any document, howsoever caused;
- Any changes in legislation, regulation, or case law occurring after the document was created or last updated;
- Any decision made or action taken based on the content of any document.
7.2. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
7.3. This limitation of liability shall apply regardless of whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not PRS Compliance Services has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
